This exhibition at RSPB Ynys-hir showcases the work of freelance Illustrator Piera Cirefice and features artwork inspired by walks and plein air studies in the Dyfi Valley.
Having spent her formative years surrounded by the majestic Mourne Mountains, Piera's artistic expression is deeply rooted in her love for the great outdoors. Her work revolves around travel reportage Illustration, skillfully combining her passion for hillwalking and traditional en plein air watercolor painting.
The exhibition displays a collection born from countless walks and plein air studies across the captivating Dyfi Valley. The watercolor paintings and illustrated prints intricately chronicle the meandering of The River Dyfi. This artistic narrative takes visitors on a visual expedition through the wetlands of Ynys-hir RSPB nature reserve.
The exhibition welcomes all, with free admission and daily opening hours from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. While the exhibition is free, do note that standard entry fees to the reserve are applicable. More information can be found here.
